Cathay Pacific may well have been the cheapest one way flight to NZ, but they also lost major brownie points by having a baggage allowance of 25 poncy kgs - my bronzer collection weighs more than that. So i called upon the lovely excessbaggage.com who let me ship a further 35kgs for some well spent moolah.

'Don't bring too much stuff, you can buy it out there love' said my mum. hmmm. From what i heard, the girls in NZ never wear make up and only wear shoes with laces in them. It was bad enough i had to give up my weekly Topshop trips, there was no way i was risking going cold turkey without my 88 shades of eye shadow, 4 fake Mulberry bags and 12 pairs of jeans. I love each one of them equally. And so, i bid them all farewell and sent them on a 7-10 day journey to Auckland.
